Aged 15 weeks.
Keira was a very special little girl who was love by everyone who met her.
She was very ill when she was born with a condition called Edwards syndrome which is a chromosome disorder also known as Trisomy 18, Keira was born with many problems which was a shock to everyone.
Only 1 in 3000 babys are born alive so Keira was a likkle fighter from the day she was conceived.
She was only given 1 month to live but beat all the odds and reached 15 weeks.
Keira was a Special Princess to her Mum, Dad and brother Luke, and a Special Little Munchkin to us her Auntie Ruth, Uncle Ade and cousins Jazzi and Amiee.
She will never be forgotten and will always be missed.

This is a poem that Gerry Litherland who is a Co-ordinator for Children with Complex health needs did for Keira after she died,
Gerry was a big help to Keiras mum along with Lin who used to visit everyday to make sure everything was ok. They are both more like good friends than carers.
Heavens very Special Child.
A meeting was held quite far from earth,
Its time again for another birth,
Said the angels to the lord above,
This special child will need much love,
Her progress may be very slow,
Accomplishments she may not show,
And she'll require extra care,
From the folks she meets down there.
She may not run or laugh or play,
Her thoughts may seem quite far away,
In many ways she won't adapt,
And she'll be known has handicapped,
So lets be careful where she's sent,
We want her life to be content,
Please lord find the parents who,
Will do a special job for you,
They will not realize right away,
The leading role they're asked to play.
But with this child sent fom above,
Come stronger faith and richer love,
And soon they'll know the privilege given,
In caring for their gift from heaven,
KEIRA their precious little girl so meek and mild is
"Heavens very special child".
The Angel with the book of life wrote down your precious name
